WEMS announces March Students of the Month
WILLIAMS, Ariz. — Williams Elementary-Middle School recently announced its March Students of the Month (SOM). Students are nominated by their teacher.
Ariah Sneed is the kindergarten SOM. Ariah is an outstanding student who SOARS every day in class. She is safe in the classroom and hallways, stays on-task during class time, shows accountability in her work and behavior, is respectful to her classmates and teachers and is always supportive of others. She loves to learn, always has a smile on her face and is such a joy to have in class. I know that I can always count on Ariah to make the right choices and be a great example to others.
The SOM for first grade is Kaydence Mason. Kaydence is new to our school this year and it has been a pleasure to have her in class. Coming into a new school is always scary, but Kaydence has really shown that she wants to be a great WEMS Falcon. Kaydence always takes responsibility in the classroom, she has really grown in her academics and has become a wonderful student. She is a great helper and friend to her classmates. Keep on shining Kaydence.
The second grade SOM is Juan Lopez, Jr. JJ is a falcon that S.O.A.R.S every day. He makes sure to stay on task and be responsible during the school day. JJ is a caring student and always checks to see if he can help. His school work is very important to him and he always asks questions if he is unsure. JJ is part of our book club and doing a great job. Way to go JJ.
The third grade SOM is Carson Hadder. Carson has begun to realize the importance of doing all his assignments and taking advantage of the “re-do” policy, which is helping to teach him initiative. Carson has a love of learning and he had a wealth of information to offer while we were on our overnight zoo trip. This love of learning will lead Carson to big things in life. Congratulations Carson.
The fourth grade SOM is Lincoln McKinnon. Lincoln comes into the classroom every morning with a smile and begins working on his morning work right away. He always completes his work on time. He follows the classroom rules, helps other students and is showing a fantastic improvement in all subjects. I am so proud of his hard work and accomplishments in fourth grade this year. We are so happy to have Lincoln in my classroom. Keep up the good work.
The fifth grade SOM is Micha Davis. Micka is an extremely conscientious student who always strives to do his very best with his school work. He is quick to help his fellow students if they are struggling. He is always willing to pitch in where needed and never has to be asked twice. He always has a smile on his face and is a positive role model for his peers.
