Williams church news: week of July 23

Holiness Congregation Church

Sundays at 10 a.m. Church Service. Prayer and praise, singing hymns, preaching and an Altar.

An overview of the Bible; Getting acquainted with your Bible: First Study began on May 6th.

Community United Methodist Church

Erin McNelly brought the message to us Sunday. Erin grew up in Williams; attending Community United Methodist Church went off to College and is now involved with the Campus Ministry at NAU. Erin's message was very inspiring "Seeking Growth in the Lord". God's love is for all who seek Him and He never gives up on anyone.

The young disciples are waiting for Vacation Bible School starting Monday July 28 through July 31, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. This year's theme is "Weird Animals". We are also looking for sponsors to help a child attend VBS. Sponsorships are $10 per child.

Tuesday from 1-3 p.m. the Not Sew Perfect Quilters will meet. Recharge will meet on Wednesday, with a meal and fellowship starting at 6 p.m., with the study starting at 7 p.m. On Thursday the Women's Bible study will start at 9:30 a.m. and the Youth group will meet at 6 p.m. Saturday Men's ministry will meet at 7 a.m. at the Church and Sisters in Spirit will meet at Debbie's home at 8 a.m. For those who would like a ride meet at the Church at 7:30 a.m. Sunday at 8:45 a.m. the Adult Sunday School class meets followed by Prayer before Worship at 9:50 a.m. with Worship starting at 10 a.m., fellowship follows at 11:30 a.m.

Family Harvest Church

Our weekly schedule includes -

• Sunday - 10:30 a.m., Worship, Kids Church; 6 p.m. Evening Service, last Sunday night of the month community service.

• Tuesday - 4:30 p.m., Women's Bible Study

• Tuesday - 10 a.m., Bible study at the Torrez home.

• Wednesday - 6 p.m., Life Lessons.

• Thursday - Youth Leadership Development, 5:30 p.m.; boys youth 7 p.m.

The fourth Thursday of the month is Ladies Mission to Hope Cottage in Flagstaff. The third Wednesday and fourth Thursday of the month is Sunshine Rescue Mission to feed and teach about the love of Christ.

St. John's Episcopal-Lutheran Church

Your word is a lantern to my feet, O Lord, and light upon my path.

All are invited to join the Bible study meets at 9 a.m. prior to the morning service each Sunday morning. The group studies the day's scriptures more in depth.

St. Johns' is looking for someone who would like to become the secretary/clerk of the Bishops' Committee. If you are interested, please call the church and leave a message. (928) 635-2781.

The choir is really doing well and performs each Sunday during the offering. Practice is held each Wednesday at 5:15 p.m. until about 6:45 - 7 p.m. Please consider joining us.

Morning Prayer will be held on Thursday mornings at 9 a.m. with the exception of the second Thursday of each month. The service is open to all members and community.

Pastor Marc MacDonald and all of St. Johns' welcome the community and our visitors to join us on Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. for worship. It is followed by a fellowship and coffee hour. All are welcome.

First Baptist Church

The Jehovah's Witnesses warmly welcome you to their weekly Bible meetings:
