This was the scripture used by our guest speaker, Steve Andros. He spoke specifically on "Patience's", and it was from First Timothy, chapter 1, verses 15-16 and was titled "Wait for it". Music was provided by Becky Nelson and James Justin. They were all filling in while Pastor Billy was on a Mission trip to Alaska. Also helping was Ginger as worship leader.
The kids are back in school and new classes for Sunday School have begun. Now is the time to come to class so you will be right on track.

Our worship service on Sunday, Sept. 8 will be at Shoshoni Point at the Grand Canyon. All who wish to attend, please meet at the church at 8:30 a.m. We will carpool from there to the Canyon.
Bishop Kirk will be coming from Phoenix to preach. He will also be giving the rites of confirmation to members of St. Andrews, Sedona who will also being joining us. After the worship service, we will have a pot-luck picnic. Please bring a food item to share.
The Sunday morning book study will resume on September 18 at 9 a.m. The book being studied is "Where God was Born: A Daring Adventure Through the Bibles Greatest Stories" by Bruce Feiler.
The book study on "The Gospel of Thomas" meets each Thursday at 9:30am in Walker Hall.
Our new choir is now practicing each Tuesday at 5:15 pm until about 6:45 pm. Anyone interested in being in the choir, please contact George Sunday morning. The choir has been singing each Sunday at the offertory. We now have two new members since we began which is great.
