Kids, get ready for Vacation Bible School. June 17, through June 20, from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m., each evening all kids are welcome to come and participate in this year's "Rome, Paul and the underground Church." It promises to be filled with fun and excitement, music, games, Bible lessons, and snacks to keep the kids busy.
"My Hope America," a nationwide outreach from Billy Graham Evangelistic Association will be coming to Williams. The message is designed to proclaim the only message that can change and transform our nation is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
At its heart, this outreach is friends sharing Jesus with friends.
Scrape-A-Thon continues this Saturday at 9 a.m. Great progress was made last Saturday, but more help is needed. See you at Church Saturday morning.
Sisters in Spirit will meet this Saturday at Betty Ferrier's home. We will meet at the Church at 7:40 a.m. and carpool to Betty's home.
Sunday at 8:45 a.m. is Adult Bible Study, 9:50 a.m. is Prayer Before Worship, 10 a.m. is the Worship/Young Disciples Church and at 11:30 a.m. is Fellowship.
Sisters in Spirit meet on the second Saturday each month at 8 a.m. for Bible study, a business meeting and sharing what has been happening throughout the month. For those who were studying the Book of Thomas, the book study will continue on Thursdays. The next study will be on June 13 at 9 a.m .in Walker Hall. The Sunday morning book study will continue with a new book beginning in July.
The search committee for the calling of a new priest/minister met on June 3. These meetings are open to all. Anyone who has a survey, please return it this Sunday. To request one please contact Pat Mc Shane, (928) 635-2925. The committee has set the middle of June to have everything done and ready to send to Phoenix to become the pastorial search.
