Community United Methodist Church

There is always something happening at Community United Methodist Church to bring people together to honor and glorify our Lord.

The following are Fellowship Opportunities: Monday at 6:30 p.m. is the Cub Scout Den Meeting, Tuesday 1-3 p.m. - Not Sew Perfect Quilters, Wednesday 6 p.m. - Soup/Salad Recharge Dinner and at 7 p.m. a recharge study, Thursday at 9:30 a.m. is Women's Bible Study and at 6 p.m. the Youth Ministry meet, on Sunday at 8:45 a.m. is Adult Bible Study, 9:50 a.m. is Prayer Before Worship, 10 a.m. is the Worship/Young Disciples Church and at 11:30 a.m. is Fellowship. On Saturday, Sisters in Spirit meet on the second Saturday each month at 8 a.m. for Bible study, a business meeting and sharing what has been happening throughout the month. The ladies welcome you to come and be a part of the Sisters in Spirit. The Men meet on the second and fourth Saturday of each month at 7 a.m. for Bible study.

Family Harvest Church

Pastor Tim Milner and David Gutshall invite you and your family to be our guest every week. We have something for the whole family. We are a Christ centered church. Loving people and bringing them into a relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ is what we are all about. We have Spirit filled worship led by Lance Beavers, and a message that will speak truth into your life. We believe that everyone can be a part of the Family of God and each one has a purpose to fulfill for Him. Everyone, no matter what or where you come from, is welcomed and will be loved, because He first loved us.

Our weekly schedule includes -

• Sunday - 10:30 a.m., Worship and Word; 11 a.m., Kids Church; 6 p.m. Evening Service, last Sunday night of the month community service.

• Monday - 4:30 p.m., Women's Bible Study; 5:30 p.m., Youth Leadership Development; 6:30 p.m., Youth Group with live music from the Beavers Boys.

• Wednesday - 6 p.m., Life Lessons.

• Thursday - Youth Leadership Development, 5:30 p.m.; Youth Live Worship by the Beavers Boys, 7 p.m.

Last Thursday of the month is Ladies Mission to Hope Cottage in Flagstaff. Third Wednesday and last Thursday of the month is Sunshine Rescue Mission to feed and teach about the love of Christ.

St. John's Episcopal-Lutheran Church

Give thanks and praise to the Lord your God.

The Book Study group is meeting at 9 a.m. Sunday morning prior to the worship service. The study of the Book of Thomas continues.

The search committee will be meeting throughout the summer to prepare the paperwork for the calling of a new priest/minister. The meetings are open and dates will be posted at church and in the news. We need input from all on this very important matter.

All members of the community and visitors are cordially invited to join us each Sunday for our morning worship service at 10:30 a.m.

St. Joseph Catholic Church

Weekly events include -

• Friday - 4 p.m., Holy Hour and Benediction; and 5 p.m., Daily Mass.

• Saturday - 4 p.m., Confessions; 4:30 p.m., Holy Rosary; 5 p.m., English Vigil Mass; 6:30 p.m., Santo Rosario; and 7 p.m., Santa Misa Vigilia.

• Sunday - 7:30 a.m. Rosary; 8 a.m. Mass in English.

• Tuesday - 5 p.m., Daily Mass.

The church office is open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday.

First Baptist Church

The First Baptist Church invites community members to come be a part of their rejuvenating ministry. The church mission is to change hearts and change lives, one soul at a time. FBC is a Christ-centered Church that preaches the Word of God with compassion and encouragement, as well as an understanding of the world today. We lift up the Lord with an exciting mix of music led by different worship teams every week. Our prayer is that no one would leave without being touched in some way by Jesus Christ.

The Sunday worship service is just the beginning. We are now offering a Saturday night worship service led by our Youth Pastor. Our church body is growing drastically, so bring your family and come participate in our exciting activities taking place during the week. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints

We welcome you to our church. Our activities include:

• Wednesday, 7 p.m., Cub Scout Pack No. 138 (8-11 years), Boy Scout Troop No. 138 (12-17 years), Young Men/Young Women (12-17 years), and Achievement Day Girls (8-11 years).

• Pastor's Coffee - Sunday 9:30 a.m. Join pastor for coffee and pastry. Pastor's Coffee is an informal get together for guests and visitors to visit and ask questions about the Assembly of God fellowship and our local church.

• Celebration Service - Sundays 10 a.m. Passionate worship and relevant, Biblical messages. Join us for a walk though the Kingdom of God as Jesus shared in the NT Parables.

Calvary Chapel Williams

Calvary Chapel welcomes you to be part of our contemporary Sunday worship service. We offer a casual, come as you are atmosphere and verse by verse teaching of God's Word.

Sunday service begins at 10 a.m., with Nursery and Sunday School provided. Join us for prayer at 9 a.m. Pastor Mike is currently teaching through II Corinthians.

Jehovah's Witnesses

The Jehovah's Witnesses warmly welcome you to their weekly Bible meetings:

• Sunday - Bible discourse, 10 a.m.; Watchtower study, Matthew 6:10.

• Thursday - Theocratic Ministry School, Congregation Bible Study, service meeting, 7:30 p.m., John 6:45.

All meetings are held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 5495 N. Sunset Strip, and are open to the public.

Canyon Chapel - a Foursquare Church

Join us Sunday morning for our Celebration Service at 10 a.m. with KIDS church following worship.

Celebrate America concert rehearsals are Mondays at Canyon Chapel 7-8 p.m. and Tuesdays at the Baptist Church from 8-9 p.m.

Y-Force youth group meets on Wednesday nights at 6 p.m.

A Spanish Bible study meets on Thursday evenings from 6-7:30 p.m.

On Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. revivalist Dennis Reanier will be with us.
