• Wednesday night's snowstorm dropped from 4 to 6 inches of snow in the Williams area and left city streets and highways slick and icy this morning. City snow removal crews worked most of the night and by morning had cleared streets enough for passage on both lanes. The local police department also had a busy night and assisted 65 motorists who were either stranded or in need of help because of the storm.
