Community United Methodist Church

"Chosen to be on Jesus's Team" was the title of the message that Pastor Billy began teaching on Sunday.

His message came from the Book of 1st Peter 1: 1-2. The praise team led us in some awesome music. Oh what a blessed day at Williams Community United Methodist Church.

Tonight Pastor Billy will lead Recharge with a study from the Book of Acts. Food and fellowship at 6 p.m. will be followed by the study at 7 p.m. Remember men that we will be attending a retreat starting this Friday at 6 p.m. in Flagstaff.

The monthly communitywide service takes place Sunday at Family Harvest Church at 6 p.m.

There is always something happening at Community United Methodist Church to bring people together to honor and glorify our Lord.

The following are Fellowship Opportunities: Monday at 6:30 p.m. is the Cub Scout Den Meeting, Tuesday 1-3 p.m. - Not Sew Perfect Quilters, Wednesday 6 p.m. - Soup/Salad Recharge Dinner and at 7 p.m. a recharge study, Thursday at 9:30 a.m. is Women's Bible Study and at 6 p.m. the Youth Ministry meet, on Sunday at 8:45 a.m. is Adult Bible Study, 9:50 a.m. is Prayer Before Worship, 10 a.m. is the Worship/Young Disciples Church and at 11:30 a.m. is Fellowship. On Saturday, Sisters in Spirit meet on the second Saturday each month at 8 a.m. for Bible study, a business meeting and sharing what has been happening throughout the month. The ladies welcome you to come and be a part of the Sisters in Spirit. The Men meet on the second and fourth Saturday of each month at 7 a.m. for Bible study.

Family Harvest Church

Pastor Tim Milner and David Gutshall invite you and your family to be our guest every week. We have something for the whole family. We are a Christ centered church. Loving people and bringing them into a relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ is what we are all about. We have Spirit filled worship led by Lance Beavers, and a message that will speak truth into your life. We believe that everyone can be a part of the Family of God and each one has a purpose to fulfill for Him. Everyone, no matter what or where you come from, is welcomed and will be loved, because He first loved us.

Our weekly schedule includes -

• Sunday - 10:30 a.m., Worship and Word; 11 a.m., Kids Church; 6 p.m. Evening Service, last Sunday night of the month community service.

• Monday - 4:30 p.m., Women's Bible Study; 5:30 p.m., Youth Leadership Development; 6:30 p.m., Youth Group with live music from the Beavers Boys.

• Wednesday - 6 p.m., Life Lessons.

• Thursday - Youth Leadership Development, 5:30 p.m.; Youth Live Worship by the Beavers Boys, 7 p.m.

Last Thursday of the month is Ladies Mission to Hope Cottage in Flagstaff. Third Wednesday and last Thursday of the month is Sunshine Rescue Mission to feed and teach about the love of Christ.

St. John's Episcopal-Lutheran Church

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

All members are reminded that Sunday, April 28 the church service will be held at Grand Canyon. No service will be in Williams. All interested people should meet at the church at 9 a.m. and all will carpool from there. Please bring a dish to pass for a picnic lunch following the service.

Book Study will follow the next Sunday for all interested in studying the Book of Thomas at 9 a.m. in Walker Hall.

St. Joseph Catholic Church

Weekly events include -

• Friday - 4 p.m., Holy Hour and Benediction; and 5 p.m., Daily Mass.

• Saturday - 4 p.m., Confessions; 4:30 p.m., Holy Rosary; 5 p.m., English Vigil Mass; 6:30 p.m., Santo Rosario; and 7 p.m., Santa Misa Vigilia.

• Sunday - 7:30 a.m. Rosary; 8 a.m. Mass in English.

• Tuesday - 5 p.m., Daily Mass.

The church office is open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday.

First Baptist Church

The First Baptist Church invites community members to come be a part of their rejuvenating ministry. The church mission is to change hearts and change lives, one soul at a time. FBC is a Christ-centered Church that preaches the Word of God with compassion and encouragement, as well as an understanding of the world today. We lift up the Lord with an exciting mix of music led by different worship teams every week. Our prayer is that no one would leave without being touched in some way by Jesus Christ.

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints

Calvary Chapel Williams

This week's regularly scheduled church events include -

• Wednesday - Midweek study begins at 7 p.m. at the church.

• Thursday - Junior and Senior High School Youth Group will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the church.

• Sunday - An Hour of Prayer begins at 9 a.m. Please join us to pray for the needs of our community, state, nation and world. Sunday worship service begins at 10 a.m. Pastor Mike is currently teaching through the Book 1 of Corinthians.

Jehovah's Witnesses

The Jehovah's Witnesses warmly welcome you to their weekly Bible meetings:

• Thursday - Theocratic Ministry School, Congregation Bible Study, service meeting, 7:30 p.m., John 6:45.

All meetings are held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 5495 N. Sunset Strip, and are open to the public.

Canyon Chapel - a Foursquare Church

Join us Sunday Mornings at 9 a.m. for adult Sunday school, Royal Roman Road and coffee and fellowship. Our celebration service begins at 10:00 a.m. with KIDS church.

Wednesday nights at 6 p.m. join us for Y-Force, our youth group.
