PARKS, Ariz. - Parks Area Connection (PAC) is a newly organized community nonprofit corporation that provides immediate emergency services to individuals and families within the greater Parks area and promotes many community activities.
Membership is made up of Parks area residents. The group responds to the needs of the rural Parks community and responds to emergency situations. PAC members direct people requiring extended services to other agencies to help fill their needs.
On Nov. 17 PAC sponsored an open house at their office at the Parks Feed and Mercantile. Many local residents attended the event where members answered questions about the mission of the group.
Joanie Raetzel said PAC welcomes and encourages new members and thanks the Parks community for their continued support and membership. The next meeting will take place Feb. 5, 2013 at 6 p.m. in the Maine Consolidated School gym. More information is available from chairperson Pat Crespo at (928) 606-3405 or from secretary/treasurer Joanie Raetzel at (928) 635-0059.
