Jeff Axtell, M.Ed. North Country HealthCare Williams Clinic
The North Country HealthCare Williams Clinic in coordination with Flagstaff Medical Center (FMC) and AstraZeneca Healthcare will provide a free health screening, regardless of an individual's health insurance or ability to pay. FMC staff will provide the screening at the North Country HealthCare Williams Clinic and will include a blood pressure check, and a non-fasting finger-stick blood draw to evaluate an individuals' blood glucose, HDL and LDL cholesterol levels.
The results will be available immediately, along with an explanation and education about what the individual should do for further follow up if necessary. No appointments are necessary. People will be seen on a first come, first serve basis with the entire process taking no more than 20 minutes. The screening will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow at the Williams Clinic located at 301 S. Seventh St.
The health screening is provided with money from a grant from AstraZeneca Healthcare. The purpose is to screen individuals for healthcare conditions that if found early, can be easily managed and corrected with proper care and lifestyle changes. More information is available at (928) 853-0879.
This free and simple screening can provide you with the information you may need to take control of your health and your longevity, for you and your loved ones.
