What makes a small paper like the News a true community paper? The answer is you.
Throughout this small, hometown newspaper, you will find photos and news about your friends, neighbors and even you. We share your birth announcements, scholastic achievements, marriage and career advancements.
The News is all about you.
Our small news crew works hard to assure your news is covered. We do have a lot of help, though, and we welcome more. We appreciate your news and photo submissions. We can't be everywhere all the time.
If you see something happening that interests you, chances are others will be interested, too.
In this edition, Jan Shirley helped out with some photos of the Memorial Day parade. Bud Parenteau sent in some photos of Kiwanis Students of the Month and Jeff Dent stopped by the office with some Williams Volunteer Fire Department news.
If you have a camera handy, snap a photo and share it with our readers. Jpegs along with information about who, what, why and where can be sent to email@example.com or you may call us at (928) 635-4426.

I enjoy reading your newspaper online and would like to know if you are in need of a freelance journalist? In the past I have published articles in the Christian newspapers surrounding the Tucson area. There are many topics to discuss and it would be fun to get the opinions of our neighbors in the area of Williams/Ash Fork. Thank you for your time, and have a wonderful day!
