WILLIAMS, Ariz. - Rodeo has been a part of Williams since 1941 and the Williams Labor Day Rodeo has played a leading role. The Slash M Rodeo Co. is proud to be a part of this time-honored tradition in the wonderful community of Williams. The rodeo will kick off on Saturday and Sunday with a kids junior rodeo at 1 p.m. and the performance at 2 p.m.

The rodeo will include barrel racing, breakaway, team roping, steer wrestling, saddle bronc, bareback riding and the ever popular wild horse race and bull riding. The weekend wraps up Monday with the Women's Professional Rodeo beginning at 1 p.m.

There is still time to be a sponsor of this "big time rodeo in a small town." Sponsors are what make this famous rodeo a success, and you decide the level of sponsorship that fits your business.

Rodeo Schedule:

Sept. 1-2 Kids' Rodeo at 1 p.m. and Rodeo Performance at 2 p.m.

Sept. 3, Women's Professional Rodeo at 1 p.m.

Gates open each day at 11 a.m. and tickets are available at the gates.

General Admission is $10 and kids five-years-old and under are free.

Location:

The Williams Rodeo Grounds at 800 Rodeo Rd. There will be free parking at the grounds.

For more information or to be a rodeo sponsor, call (480) 216-3465 or email awhite@williamslabordayrodeo.com. Check out www.williamslabordayrodeo.com.
