The Williams Police Department (WPD) answered the following calls for service (among others) -

• Officers responded to loud music at a local restaurant on Second Street. The music was turned down;

• Officers investigated a non-injury accident on Second Street and Railroad Avenue;

• Officers responded to a road rage incident on Sherman Avenue and Pine Avenue, the suspect was gone when officers arrived;

• Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle on Pine Avenue;

• Officers issued a verbal warning and separated the people involved in a disturbance on Fifth Street;

• Officers cited a man for water theft at the Rodeo grounds;

• Officers responded to suspicious activity on Hereford Avenue;

• Officers responded to trespassing on Hancock Avenue;

• Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle on Sixth Street;

• Officers and animal control officers responded to a dog bite on Golden Meadows Trail;

• Officers assisted the Department of Public Safety (DPS) with a rollover accident on I-40;

• Officers responded to an alarm on Lakeview Avenue;

• Officers found an open door on Seventh Street;

• Officers responded to a suspicious person/vehicle on South Road;

• Officers investigated a vehicle versus bicyclist injury accident on Seventh Street and Railroad Avenue;

• Officers investigated a hit and run accident at a local hotel;

• Officers investigated a water violation at a local hotel;

• Officers responded to an assault on Grant Avenue, the suspect fled the area when officers arrived. The case is under investigation;

• Officers responded to a child screaming in a hotel room. When officers arrived the child was fine and playing;

• Officers arrested a suspect for burglary and criminal damage after they responded to a domestic call on Rodeo Road;

• Officers took a report of possible sexual conduct with a minor, the report was called in by Flagstaff Medical Center;

• Officers assisted DPS with a rollover accident on I-40. Three subjects were injured and a helicopter assisted;

• Officers responded to shots fired near the Country Club;

• Officers responded to a missing child on Morse Avenue, the child was found safe by an officer;

• Officers arrested a person for assault at a local restaurant; and

• Officers issued 10 citations and gave out 29 warnings.

Those who want to report a crime while remaining anonymous can also call Silent Witness at (928) 774-6111 or (877) 29-CRIME. Silent Witness offers rewards of as much as $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
