The Williams Police Department answered the following calls for service -

• Officers arrested a male for DUI drugs on 64 and Rodeo.

• Officers responded to disturbance on Rodeo, nothing found by officers.

• Officers responded to subjects playing on ice at Santa Fe, they were removed from area.

• Officers responded to juvenile skating in the street on Edison. They were told to keep out of the street.

• Officers responded to garbage in the street on Grand Canyon Blvd.

• Officers assisted adult protective service with home visit on Sherman.

• Officers assisted Lifeline on Sherman.

• Officers responded to panic alarm on 7th.

• Officers responded to a loose dog on Route 66.

• Officers responded to a juvenile issue on 7th.

• Officers dealt with a civil matter at a local business on Route 66.

• Officers responded to prowler on Sheridan.

• Officers took a private property accident report on Railroad.

• Officers responded to a customer dispute at a local hotel.

• Officers conducted a walk through at the high school.

• Officers conducted a walk through at the middle school.

• Officers found an open door at a business on Route 66. The owner responded and locked thr door.

• Officers responded to suspicious activity on Sheridan.

• Officers gave out several illegal parking notices in city in response to citizen complaints.

• Officers responded to underage drinking on Seventh St. and referred a boy to juvenile detention for possession of alcohol underage;

• Officers responded to a business dispute on Route 66;

• Officers responded to a transient on Grand Canyon Blvd;

• Officers responded to illegal parking on Third St.;

• Officers assisted DPS with an injury accident on I-40;

• Officers arrested a woman for driving with a suspended license on Highland Meadows and Country Club;

• Officers responded to a man with a gun on First St. It turned out to be juveniles with a BB gun;

• Officers responded to an intoxicated man causing a disturbance on Route 66. Officers removed him from the area.

• Officers dealt with numerous snow issues;

• Officers issued 2 citations and gave out 11 warnings.

Anyone with any information is urged to call the WPD at (928) 635-4461. Anonymous tips can be left at any time at (928) 635-5992. Those who want to report a crime while remaining anonymous, can also call Silent Witness at (928) 774-6111 or (877) 29-CRIME. Silent Witness offers rewards of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
