Williams 911: Week of Sept. 5, 2012

The Williams Police Department answered the following calls for service -

• Officers responded to a dog bite on Sherman. The case was turned over to animal control.

• Officers responded to suspicious activity on Route 66.

• Officers dealt with a guardian issue on Fourth.

• Officers responded to a verbal altercation on Humboldt.

• Officers conducted a welfare check on Fulton.

• Officers responded to a disturbance on Edison. Officers found nothing.

• Officers arrested a male for a felony warrant on Locust and Fulton.

• Officers took a report of criminal damage on Grand Canyon Boulevard.

• Officers dealt with a road rage incident on Railroad.

• Officers responded to a parking complaint on Grand Canyon Boulevard.

• Officers took a report of burglary from a vehicle on Fairview.

• Officers towed a vehicle on Edison for a mandatory 30 days due to a driver with no driver's license.

• Officers dealt with a transient at restrooms on Ninth and Route 66.

• Officers responded to solicitors on Homestead.

• Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle on Quarterhorse.

• Officers issued six citations, and gave out 12 warnings.

Anyone with any information is urged to call the WPD at (928) 635-4461. Anonymous tips can be left at any time at (928) 635-5992. Those that want to report a crime while remaining anonymous, can also call Silent Witness at (928) 774-6111 or (877) 29-CRIME. Silent Witness offers rewards of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
