WILLIAMS - Citizens are reminded that Friday is the last day to vote early in person in Tuesday's Williams City Council Election. Incumbent Councilman Kevin Young faces challenger Bernie Hiemenz for one council seat.

Also on Tuesday, all voters statewide will be eligible to vote on Proposition 100, which asks for voter approval of a temporary state sales tax and use tax of one cent per dollar. If approved, it will run from June 1 through May 31, 2013.

Voters wishing to vote early in person can do so until Friday at the Coconino County Elections Office, 110 E. Cherry Ave. in Flagstaff or through Thursday at Williams City Hall, 113 S. First St.

On Tuesday, polls will be open 6 a.m.-7 p.m. North side voters can cast ballots at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel, 235 N. Grand Canyon Blvd. South side voters can vote at Coconino Community College, 636 S. Seventh St. Election results can be viewed at after 7 p.m. Tuesday.
