The Williams Police Department (WPD) answered the following calls for service -

• Officers arrested a man for threatening and intimidating behavior on Hancock St.;

• Officers dealt with three subjects at the top of Third St.;

• Officers responded to a suspicious person and vehicle on Grand Canyon Blvd.;

• Officers responded to a loose pit bull on Ninth St.;

• Officers investigated a non-injury accident on Second St.;

• Officers took a report of a private property accident on Seventh St.;

• Officers took a criminal damage report at Ragtime ranch;

• Officers dealt with a civil matter on Route 66;

• Officers took in found property on Fourth St.;

• Officers responded to a disturbance on Grant Ave., verbal warning only and the parties were separated;

• Officers responded to a suspicious person call on Route 66;

• Officers responded to a theft on Seventh St, the items were returned and nobody filed charges;

• Officers dealt with a mental health issue on Slagel Ave.;

• Officers responded to a disturbance at a local hotel, thre was a language issue with a tourist and a worker;

• Officers responded to a juvenile issue at Buckskinner Park;

• Officers responded to an alarm on Frank Way;

• Officers assisted Weights and Measures with a taxi issue in the city;

• Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle on McPherson Ave.;

• Officers dealt with a transient near Clover Hill;

• Officers issued 5 citations and gave out 9 warnings.

Anyone with any information is urged to call the WPD at (928) 635-4461. Anonymous tips can be left at any time at (928) 635-5992. Those who want to report a crime while remaining anonymous, can also call Silent Witness at (928) 774-6111 or (877) 29-CRIME. Silent Witness offers rewards of as much as $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
