The Williams Police Department answered the following calls for service -

• Officers investigated a non-injury accident on Second St. and Grant Ave.;

• Officers arrested a man for driving with a suspended license on Route 66;

• Officers responded to a parking dispute on Sherman Ave.;

• Officers responded to boulders in the road on South Road;

• Officers responded to a trespassing at a local hotel;

• Officers investigated a hit and run accident on Sixth St. and cited the suspect for hit and run and damage to property;

• Officers took a theft report on Grand Canyon Blvd.;

• Officers responded to a suspicious person twice on Sheridan Ave.;

• Officers arrested a man for driving with a suspended license after he was stopped on Seventh St. for speeding in a school zone;

• Officers responded to a disturbance at a local hotel and arrested a woman for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia;

• Officers performed a welfare check on Franklin Ave.;

• Officers dealt with a civil matter at a local hotel;

• Officers responded to a prowler on Sheridan Ave.;

• Officers assisted Lifeline on Tenth St.;

• Officers dealt with a custody issue on Route 66;

• Officers tagged an abandoned vehicle in a city parking lot;

• Officers responded to a disturbance on Fifth St. and separated those involved;

• Officers responded to a prowler on Sheridan Ave.;

• Officers assisted the Williams Fire Department with a brush fire on Airport Rd.;

• Officers responded to an alarm on Seventh St.;

• Officers took a criminal damage report at a local hotel;

• Officers attended the Senior Center breakfast;

• Officers responded to a disturbance at Lost Canyon involving an intoxicated woman;

• Officers responded to an alarm on Parkway;

• Officers took a threat report on Seventh St.;

• Officers assisted Child Protective Services with a home check on Edison;

• Offices responded to an alarm on Grand Canyon Blvd.;

• Officers responded to a shoplifting incident on Route 66 and called the kids' parents;

• Officers responded to a report of ammunition found on a playground on Grant Ave.;

• Officers issued 10 citations and gave out 16 warnings.

Anyone with any information is urged to call the WPD at (928) 635-4461. Anonymous tips can be left at any time at (928) 635-5992. Those who want to report a crime while remaining anonymous, can also call Silent Witness at (928) 774-6111 or (877) 29-CRIME. Silent Witness offers rewards of as much as $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
