The Williams Police Department answered the following calls for service -

• Officers responded to an intoxicated female on Third Street and Route 66. Subject was taken to hospital with mental health issues;

• Officers responded to an intoxicated employee at a local business on Grand Canyon Blvd. The subject was removed;

• Officers assisted Lifeline at several locations;

• Officers responded to several dog calls;

• Officers dealt with a landlord/tenant issue on Morse Avenue;

• Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle at a local hotel;

• Officers responded to a fight on First Street. A man was arrested for aggravated assault;

• Officers responded to a fight on Edison Avenue, no one would cooperate or prosecute;

• Officers responded to welfare check on Ninth Street;

• Officers responded to a prowler on Sheridan Avenue;

• Officers investigated a non-injury accident on Grand Canyon Blvd. and Edison Avenue;

• Officers responded to a private property accident on Grand Canyon Blvd., Officers arrested a man for DUI;

• Officers responded to a man with a gun on Third street and Route 66. The man was arrested;

• Officers investigated a non-injury accident on Ninth Street and Route 66;

• Officers took in found property on Railroad Avenue;

• Officers investigated a non-injury accident on Franklin Avenue;

• Officers arrested a male for driving with a suspended license and suspended license plate on Rodeo Road;

• Officers took a report of a private property accident that occurred on Route 66;

• Officers dealt with a civil matter at a local hotel;

• Officers responded to a customer/owner of business issue on Route 66;

• Officers took a report of a theft that occurred last May;

• Officers responded to a domestic incident on Golden Meadows. The suspect left upon officer arrival. Charges were filed;

• Officers took a report of trespassers at a local hotel; and

• Officers responded to juvenile issues on Route 66.

Officers issued six citations and gave out 14 warnings.

Those who want to report a crime while remaining anonymous, can also call Silent Witness at (928) 774-6111 or (877) 29-CRIME. Silent Witness offers rewards of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
