The Matthew James Broehm Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 12128 in Williams is seeking new members for the Ladies Auxiliary. The auxillary welcomes current members of another post to transfer. New members must have served in a foreign war or qualify through eligible family members. The post meets every second Thursday of the month at 117 W. Route 66, Suite 190 in Williams.
Friends of Aquatic Center seeks board members
The Friends of the Williams Aquatic Center is seeking two board members. Currently, Mike Dulay, Clare Hydock, Tom Hooker, Kris Vasquez, Bobby Patricca, Beth Michelson and Edie Phillips serve on the board.
Board members would attend 8-10 meetings per year and participate in fundraising activities. Grant writing skills would also be helpful.

Folklorico dancing open to community

Choir, band seeks members
The Northern Arizona Choir and Symphonic Band is seeking members. Residents of Ash Fork, Seligman and Williams can join. The choir/band is open to those in grades first through 12th. Shooting range open Saturdays
The Williams Sportsman's Club (WSC) will have the city shooting range open for members shooting and target practice Saturdays from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. as staffing and weather allows. The club's website, www.williamssportsmansclub.org, lists range closures, weekday openings, extended hours and special events. A Range Safety Officer (RSO) will be present to coordinate activities. Youth football registration now open
Williams Youth Football registration for the 2013 Football/Cheer Season is now open.
Tigers football, 5-8 years old is $95. Bengals football, 9-11 years old is $105. Cheer teams, 5-8 years old and 9-11 years old is $75.
Practice starts Aug. 5 and the season ends by November.

Soccer camp June 17-21
The Williams American Youth Soccer Organization is bringing the Challenger British Soccer Camp to town this summer. The camp is from June 17-21 at Williams Elementary-Middle School. The camp package includes a free soccer ball and T-shirt, individual evaluation, coaching by the pros from the U.K. and end of camp gift. Camps are available for ages 3 to 18. AYSO soccer registration open now
Registration is now open for the Williams American Youth Soccer Organization summer league. Kids ages 4-18 can register online through June 15 at www.eAYSO.org or www.flagsoccer.org. Online player registration is $75.
Players must be at least 4 years old by June 30 to play.
Santana needs volunteers to serve as coaches, assistant coaches, facilitators (similar to referees for younger teams) and team parents.

City dog licenses available
Dog owners may purchase 2013 dog licenses at City Hall or the Williams Police Department. City Ordinance 6-10.10 requires that all dogs must be licensed within the City of Williams if living within city limits. Dog owners must renew licenses annually and are good through Dec. 31. Owners must provide proof of current rabies vaccination and alteration.
