The Williams Police Department answered the following calls for service -

• Officers took a report of a subject using the social security number of another person.

• Officers took a report of a private property accident on Grant.

• Officers conducted a senior welfare check on Fifth Street.

• Officers trespassed a subject from Route 66 per the request of a victim.

• Officers took a report of theft from a convenience store.

• Officers took a report of domestic violence that occurred on Sheridan.

• Officers responded to an alarm at Heritage School.

• Officers responded to an unattended fire at Santa Fe Dam.

• Officers stopped a subject on Route 66 and cited him for driving with a suspended driver's license.

• Officers stopped a subject on Railroad Avenue and found he had no license. He was cited and his vehicle was impounded for a mandatory 30 days.

• Officers responded to an assault on Sheridan. The subject was gone when officers arrived.

• Officers responded to a loose dog on Fifth Street.

• Officers conducted direct patrol after numerous complaints of stop sign violations and speeders in the area of Grand Canyon Boulevard. Five citations were issued.

• Officers responded to a domestic on Meade. No violence occurred and officers separated the subjects.

• Officers arrested an adult male for contributing to a minor and a juvenile for underage drinking on Railroad Avenue.

• Officers took in found property on Route 66.

• Officers handled a runaway juvenile case on Hancock.

• Officers responded to a fight on Route 66. Officers found nothing in the area.

• Officers took a report of a theft from a vehicle on Sheridan.

• Officers responded to a fight on Homestead. The subjects were separated and removed from the area.

• Officers took a report of possible sexual misconduct on Boyd.

• Officers stopped an individual for a traffic violation and found subject never had a driver's license. The vehicle was impounded for a mandatory 30 days.

• Officers took a report of possible animal cruelty on Homestead.

• Officers took a report of fraud over the Internet.

• Officers dealt with a civil matter on Rogers.

• Officers assisted Life Line with an intoxicated female on Morse.

• Officers took a report of phone harassment on Oak.

• Officers responded to a fight at Third and Route 66. Officers found nothing in the area.

• Officers took a report of a damaged electrical meter on Route 66.

• Officers dealt with illegal burning on Rogers.

• Officers took a report of theft from a hotel.

• Officers dealt with a civil matter on Route 66.

• Officers responded to an intoxicated male causing a disturbance on Tabor.

• Officers responded to a prowler on Wells Fargo.

• Officers dealt with an intoxicated male on Hereford.

• Officers took a report of a runaway juvenile. The juvenile returned home later.

• Officers assisted Life Line on Rodeo.

• Officers took a theft report from a tourist at a hotel.

• Officers responded to a disturbance on Sherman Avenue. Officers separated the subjects.

• Officers provided a tour of the WPD to a Cub Scout group.

• Officers assisted Life Line with an intoxicated male who fell on Third Street.

• Officers took a report of a neighbor problem on Homestead.

• Officers issued 48 citations and gave out 63 warnings.

Those that want to report a crime while remaining anonymous, can also call Silent Witness at (928) 774-6111 or (877) 29-CRIME. Silent Witness offers rewards of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
